I have tried blogging a number of times. This time will be different. I have improved my time management skills and renewed my commitment to sharing my technical journey. It has been almost two decades developing Microsoft based solutions to business problems. The technologies and tools have improved and we are all better off as a result.
My approach to managing these changes has been to follow as many bright and passionate developers as I can find. Technologies I am actively tracking include: Angular, Asp.Net Core, Aurelia, Vue, React, TypeScript and Java.
Java was recently added because of a potential technical partnership with a group of Java developers. Java has improved a great deal in the last decade. My previous experience involved a lot of manual file reading\parsing and modifying. The high level libraries that abstract those details away make it much more possible to focus on the actual tasks at hand and not the plumbing. It is almost as comfortable as C#.
